Brief History About Us

X-Pact is a mission organisation started by Singaporeans to fulfill the Lord’s Great Commission. We at X-Part believe that God has put Singaporeans in a strategic position (geographically, economically and culturally) to reach our Asian neighbors. This God-given window of opportunity will not stay open to us if we are not faithful to grasp it.

Through a series of amazing events, X-Pact was established in 1997 by a few graduates of Singapore Bible College who step out in faith and took the courage to obey the call of the Lord to reach the unreached.  To ensure that the ministry to the unreached will not slide into a hit-and-miss outreach effort, X-Pact believes firmly in establishing a fellowship of believers who will grow in the Lord and disciple others in turn. Hence, church-planting work takes central place in the ministry of X-Pact. Out first church planting initiatives were in North India, Taiwan and Cambodia. The work has expanded and currently, X-Pact is supporting church-planting efforts in Nepal, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Thailand.

The ministry in X-Pact is oversee by the Board of Executive Committee and supported by staff. The team meet regularly to pray, discuss and plan the work of X-Pact.

Vision

X-Pact embraces the call of our Lord Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of all nations through church planting ministries in unreached areas or people groups. Working primarily through strategic partnerships, X-Pact’s vision is encapsulated in our motto – “Planting Able Churches Together with C(Ϫ)hrist”.

Mission

The mission of X-Pact is framed in our 3 P’s Model which expounds on the key guiding principles of our X-Pact’s work:

• Plant Churches

X-Pact’s fundamental ministry is to establish communities of believers, and empower them to grow. The target is to plant able churches with potential for church multiplication. This can be pioneering work or with existing ministries which need help with its growth.

• People Groups

X-Pact’s primary outreach focus is in areas or amongst people groups which are largely unreached. The target is to seek out areas where there are no churches or people groups which are neglected / rejected by other Christian communities.

• Partnerships

X-Pact’s key strategy is to work in close co-operation with local and overseas Christian leaders and groups. The target is to establish partnership with like-minded Christians or groups with a heart and calling to plant churches amongst unreached people groups.
